Bashir is a Nigerian and holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology and Msc in Information Security in view. He has over 2 decades of corporate experience from the Banking, Insurance and Technology sectors in Nigeria. He spent close to 5 years in the IT department of Zenith Bank where he ended up as the System Administrator. After his banking stint, he spent over 10 years in the insurance industry that took him through two Health Maintenance organizations including Zenith Medicare (A Subsidiary of Zenith Bank) and Songhai Health Trust HMOs.During this period, he achieved the implementation of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) with respect to health insurance in Bauchi and Borno States respectively. The on boarding and administration of healthcare of Zone 7 of the Nigeria Police (Force HQ, FCT, Kaduna, Niger Commands respectively and Police College Kaduna).Development of Takaful Health insurance products with Songhai in collaboration with JAIZ Takaful and JAIZ Bank Plc. He attended several managerial courses within and outside the Nigeria. Bashir is a Fellow in the Institute of Credit Administration and Associate Member Health and managed care Association of Nigeria.
